Keto, vegan, paleo, Atkins or fasting.
What I have learned throughout the years, is every individual responds differently to each individual program. And you’ve surely heard of them all (or, almost).
Throughout each regimen, one thing remains: if you want to lose weight, you have to be in a deficit. That’s pretty much the not-so-secret magic secret. Working yourself into a caloric deficit with any diet will result in weight loss. That is why so many people have success with a variety of nutrition plans. And trust me, I’ve tried many diets. So let me save you the trouble and share the must-know diet tips.
- Commit, and don’t back down: There will always be excuses. Be accountable and commit.
- Find an accountability partner: Find a trainer or buddy to help support you and keep you accountable. Weekly or daily check ins can be wonderful tools to keep you on track.
- Give it time: Meaningful weight loss doesn’t happen overnight. True fat loss can take years. I do not recommend plastic surgery as this leads to a wide variety of health concerns and potential life threatening consequences. Plastic surgery is a band aid to a deeper issue that should be explored. Eat healthy and lose weight the old fashion way, with hard work.
If you want to begin a particular program, do your research and see if it fits with your lifestyle.
